I have surgry booked for 29th September, super excited but nervous. I’m a hairdresser and booked 2 and half weeks off work, does this sound enough time off? Going back to light duties

Have you guys got your post op bras? Any advice on ones you have got? I’ve read so many different things online! Need help please!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL! ????????

@kduff29 I got a couple the mya ones that do up at the back when they was on offer I also got a couple of the £8 ones from Asda the sports bras they’re supportive and comfortable I got 2 different sizes in the Asda ones
I also got a marks and spencer one I got off eBay brand new eBay has a lot of m&s ones that have never been worn for like £15 I think I paid when normally it would of been £25 just type in on eBay post surgery bras and you’ll see loads appear have a look at the delivery though to make sure you get them in time for your surgery date xx

@tillytott it’s getting closer now I still got till the 24th for my surgery I hope yours goes well and you have a speedy recovery!xx

Thank you for your reply. I have ordered 2 different sizes off amazon and they arrive tomorrow now. I saw a couple of other posts on recommended post op bras so went with some on there. Thank you tho I will keep note of that just in case I feel uncomfortable in the ones I’ve ordered.

Thanku for the replies ladies. I’ve just paid all the money!!! In cash !!! Saved up for such a long time in chunks it was amusing watching them count it all up and yet slightly devastating too lol. I have the stabilising post op bra from esshop but haven’t got anything else yet as I have no idea quite what size to get. I’m going to ask after the op (if my brain is working) to see what he recommends. Unless there are some guidelines somewhere I haven’t spotted? Keep in touch everyone x

I’ve got just over two weeks, it is worrying as the surgeon is so strong on time off, but I guess they have to be to cover there backs, I’ve got friends who have had it done and all say 2 weeks is fine but take it easy going back and break yourself in. I’m going back part time for 1 week then going to slowly up it.
