    Hi everyone!
I’m booked in for surgery on the 7th August after having an econsult in the middle of lockdown (in May). I’ve paid my deposit and set up the financial agreement but I’m still yet to even meet my surgeon (Ms Lutz)?! Is this normal? I appreciate COVID has messed timings up but at this rate it feels like I’ll meet her on the day!

Any advice or anyone in the similar boat would be really appreciated!
    Xx

I was assumed that you had to wait 2 weeks before you could have surgery after meeting your surgeon. I’d maybe try and contact your PC again. Xx

Keep pesting them. I was in the same boat and finally found out my surgeon is being used by the NHS and won’t be back till September. Had I not have spent all day calling them I would have no idea. So gutted 🙁

Hi girls! So I found out that my surgeon isn’t doing consultations yet and my options were to book with another surgeon (one that wasn’t recommended to me in the first place) or wait for her. I could only do August or later in the year as I’m a teacher so it’s been pushed back to the end of October! Really gutted and even more annoying as they kept reassuring me even up until the day of them cancelling that operations were still going ahead! 😟

    Hi Sophie.
I’m sorry that must be so awful 🙁 was there reason for cancelling just that the surgeon was not going to be operating?? X

Sorry you are going through this. I really don’t feel that they should get us to book the surgery prior to meeting the surgeon, so many girls are stressed out by this..
