    Preston with Mr Mahdi.

    I’m absolutely terrified. Like terrified.
Also have 2 macom bras but do I need a band? I keep seeing people talk about the band on here. What is it?

    I’m having HP round, 375cc.
    Any other advice?

Hi I had my surgery 5 weeks ago this Monday. I was a 34aa and had 400cc HP unders and now I think I’m a d cup. I also went to Preston and the staff there were so nice, they made me feel really comfortable.
Also nobody told me I needed a breast band I just woke up with one on 😄. So unless the surgeon says that you need one I wouldn’t bother. Can I ask you what you are most worried about?

I think going In on my own is a big worry.
The operation itself I’m really scared.
    The recovery.

    Which surgeon did you have?

    Also driving.
How long realistically until I’ll be able to drive again?

Although I have a manual license my car is an automatic so no gear changes etc.

Hi Sarah, I had surgery yesterday with Mr. Mahdi at Preston and I’m currently still in here as an overnight case. Honestly I was so worried and apprehensive about it all as I’ve never had surgery before and didn’t know what to expect. I cannot stress enough how amazing and kind all of the staff here have been and massively put my mind at ease. They cannot do enough for you.

The op itself was over with before I knew it and I’ve been very lucky in that I’ve had no pain (the nurses have kept on top of my pain meds) and managed to get a good few hours sleep.

I wish you the best of luck and hope all goes well but if you have any questions please feel free to message me and I’ll see if I can help 😊 xxx

I was also terrified but it all went so smooth. TBH I did wake up in agony but the nurses gave me some pain killers and then I had a really comfortable night sleep. After the first night I was just sore for the first few days, and within a week I felt absolutely fine! I think you have to have someone with you for the first 48 hours just while the anesthetic wears off, I had someone with me to help out but I only needed help with making food and drinks. I avoided driving for two weeks, only because of insurance reasons.
As long as you are fit and healthy the chances of any complications are extremely low. I think you I’ll be absolutely fine! Xx

Also when I first started driving again I could feel my pec muscle pressing on my implant whenever I went to 5th gear so an automatic is better xx

I bought 2 bras my surgeon said not to wear them he wants them to drop into the pocket he made.
Had my surgery last Wednesday 11th
    Good luck!! X
