Surgery whilst already on antibiotics

Has anyone had surgery whilst already on antibiotics? If so any problems? Thanks xx

I’m wondering the same as I have had a uti and currently treating it but course is finished Saturday and surgery is next Thursday and I know they advise to take as little as possible so just hoping it’s not going to cause problems x

I’m on long term antibiotics for acne and my nurse just checked with my surgeon if it was ok to continue these while taking my antibiotics after surgery and it was fine but it will all depend on what antibiotics etc so speak to your nurse x
