Surgical socks

Hi everyone, can anyone advise how long you have to wear the surgical socks for? The nurse said at my pre op it is 5 days however i have been told by friends who went to other companies told them 4 weeks!…, could anyone whos post surgery advise how long you wore your surgical socks for? Thanks xxxx

I wasn’t with Mya. But I was just advised to keep them on until I was fully mobile again. I was moving around from day 1 and going for short walks so I only kept them on for about 4 or 5 days, mainly coz I was paranoid about dvt! If you’re up and moving every hour or so and not bed bound you shouldn’t need them for more than a few days. I’d go with what your nurse told you x

Had my surgery today. Got told 5 days xxx
Obvs you can take them.off ..hand wash them they dry so quick then back on xx

I wasn’t with mya but wore mine for 48 hours as advised by my nurse x

My advise was 5 days also never had such hairy legs wen I took them off lol x

Keep them on 5days after you op xx
