Hi, I’m a week post op today and i am so uncomfortable in my band and support bra, the only time I don’t have one on is when I change. My 1st check up isn’t until Tuesday but would it hurt to take my support bra and band or for half hr or so?xx

I personally wouldn’t but I’m so worried about my very large implants dropping too much so I wouldn’t risk them not having the support needed from the bra, especially as you are so early in the recovery process. I actually feel more comfortable in the bras than without them as they feel so heavy without being supported. Maybe you just need a better bra. It’s completely your choice but they do advise you to wear the bras for a reason x

Thanks for your reply Tor. I brought all my bras in size 34, the size of my back before my op which was suggested by the nursery. I tried one on and it dug into my incisions, I wore a second one and it was perfect but when I changed into a third to wash the second one it kept riding up every time I moved in bed which was annoying!! I just can’t tell if the tight feeling is my bra compressing too much or if that’s just a normal feeling? X

Thanks Amy, I have my first check up tomorrow so will ask this when I’m there. Didn’t think to ask on my op day! X
