Taking plasters off?? Advice please

Hi girls. I am just sat consodering taking my plasters off. Im 6dpo now and havnt actually seen my incisions yet. I havnt got a check up till day 11. Just eondering if any of u took them off? X

i had mine off on day 6 but i think its best the nurse does it as she knows whats best just incase ur not quit ready ? or at least call and ask them first x becareful x

I would call and ask. I wouldn’t take them off without your nurse being aware. I had to have mine redressed for another week before being completely dressing free x

Why are you wanting to take them off??
I would really advise not doing this especially if you havrnt spoken to your nurse or anyone. You’re still early and perhaps the check up on day 11 is for a reason???
I had mine on for a week as I also had strapping when that was removed they changed my dressings and put more on.
When I went back at nearly 3 weeks again they were checked and redressed.
It all depends on how you are healing. To take them off now could put you at risk of infections etc if they have not been checked x

Thanks girls. I guess im just being impatient. Dieing for a shower and just want to check that the insicions are ok xx
