    Hi girls!
I’ve got my first consultation this weekend and I’m so excited!
I still haven’t got an idea what I’m going for but looking for a more natural look….
I assume tear drop is more natural? But I do like the look of the more rounded shape, however my mum and Fiance think tear drop would be better for me.. it’s so hard to decide!!
    How did you all decide?
Is this something we go through at the first consultation? Any tips on what to expect on my first consultation?
I look on this forum daily at the moment, think it’s such a good idea!!
If anyone can post any pics so I could compare round vs tear drop I would appreciate that very much!
    P.s I’m a 34B and I think the biggest I would go to is a 275CC…

Usually ur surgeon would recommend the shape (there are study’s that shoe there isn’t a difference in appearance after a BA with round or teardrop, tear drop are only usually used if there is very little breast tissue or in an uplift or if the pairent requests but usually the surgeon will say what he thinks is best for you, same with profile depending on your measurements you may get a choice but if u are very small frame you may only be able to have high profile or ultra high….. your surgeon will either say u can only have up to 300cc or he may give you a choice of sizes to try, I didn’t go with mya but I truer sizers at my second consultation I had mod plus profile and had a choice between 350/400/450/500 I chose 450, my surgeon thought 400/450 suited me best but all the sizes he suggested would physically fit….. I initially thought I wouldn’t be offered bigger than 325 as I was a a cup small b cup so I was shocked I now measure 34f 10weeka post op but they don’t look that big as I have big hips so I’m quite curvy now….. ur surgeon wouldn’t suggest anything that will make you look stupid, I just said I’d like a natural shape but a good size so I was glad I could have quite a big implant xx

I’m not MYA but I’m having tear drop 390cc in November. My impression seems to be that MYA is 99% round but if you see posts from other patients like Spire patients we seem to be more teardrop. I think you’ll get a lot of replies saying go round as teardrop can rotate. But you need to make your own decision based on what your surgeon recommends. Not all surgeons do teardrop.
Check out #drtav on Instagram if you’re liking teardrop – if I lived in Oz he’d be my surgeon for sure!

@beckymay I had teardrop 255cc 9 weeks ago. I’m very petite and got told that round would give me a ridge. I was a little worried about rotation but after reading lots of research I found that there’s only actually a really tiny chance of it happening. Really happy with how natural my boobs are looking at the moment when they’re not in a bra…. it’s still early days so know that they will soften and look even more natural in a bra soon. Ive attached some recent pictures xx

Thanks girls, for some reason I thought I needed to know exactly what I want to be when I had my consultation, its good to hear that the surgeon helps decide and won’t let you look silly! Thats what I was most worried about!!

When I first went in I originally wanted tear drop thinking they would be the most natural for me. I seen 2 different surgeons, first one wasn’t Mya & second one was, Dr Traynor who I went with. I told them both exactly what I wanted and both surgeons said round for me. I was surprised thinking really?! Cause I have a tiny frame and had very little breast tissue to begin with. I only wanted a small implant and just wanted them to look natural on my body. I’m very happy with my results 🙂 I had the same fear as you, I thought I had to pick everything out myself, but don’t worry they know what’s best! And will never make you look silly. 🙂 The only thing I picked for myself was the size. I went for 275s. Had unders as that was my only choice due to having very little. If you didn’t want to pick the size for yourself your surgeon could even do that. I attached a pic of mine below, that was at the 2 week post op stage. (One side has started to drop…ONE lol! So makes them look slightly different in sizes as one sitting higher but they’ve started to even out) Hope this helps & I would definitely 100% recommend Dr Traynor 🙂 xx
