Hi, I’ve had my surgery booked now for 3 months..with 4 weeks to go i have still only told my husband, one of my best friends and my mum. I feel uncomfortable telling others. Did you all tell everyone and do you always need to? i wear padded bras now and not going over 300cc so would i getaway with not having to tell too many?

    Hello,

I’ve pretty much done the same as you. I’ve told my partner & my parents & 2 or 3 close friends but that’s it.
I don’t really think it matters if you tell people or not, the choice is personal to you & the reason I’ve not told more is because I can’t be bothered with people’s negativity or opinions!
Everyone I’ve told know my reasons for doing it & are very supportive.
I don’t wear particularly padded bras but I still don’t really think people will notice & if they do – depending on who it is – I’ll either be honest or shrug it off.

    Choice is yours 🙂

I’m also the same – just told my BF, mum and a few close friends. Others will definitely notice mine (and probably yours!) but it’s your body and your choice. If people ask afterwards then you can tell them but otherwise I don’t see the point if you’re not comfortable.
Not even told my dad – left my mum to tell him – and I’ve not had any convos with him about it. Could just forever not be brought up with him haha

I had 275 & 300 and although I can see a big difference, same as you I wore bras that were too big and padded before so I think people haven’t really noticed x
