Hi, I’m wondering how much time people took off work to recover? I work in an office job and want to take as little time off as possible. Thanks

Hi I took two weeks – they recommend a week but I did two because I had stiches that needed to be removed.
A week is really need because if like me you wouldn’t be able to type xx

I’ve taken two weeks off, this is what I was advised by my surgeon. I also work an office job. After I have my stitches out though if I feel well enough I’ll go back earlier! I’d book two weeks just in case then you can just see how you feel xx

I work in an office, planning to take 1 week paid holiday then maybe another 2 or 3 days unpaid. My boss has said to maybe take my first couple of days back as half days to ease back into it xx

I had my op on a Wednesday so took Wednesday-Friday off then the whole of the following week so only used 8 holiday days. I was totally fine to work by the Monday and my jobs a driving job. I was more tired than usual and had to leave early that Wednesday to head to my 2 week app to have stitches removed but I was fine to work and I would say I had one of the tougher recoveries x

My stitches are dissolvable I think it depends on your surgeon xx

Depends on your surgeon but you usually get told at your pre op. Marcellino uses a few non dissolveable stitches. If you do have some and need them removed just let me say now before you even spend one second worrying you literally cannot feel them come out. I was so nervous the night before thinking it would be some major pain on an already sensitive area. And I mean NOTHING I actually had to ask her if she had removed one because plucking my eyebrows provokes more emotion in me. So yeah haha
