Time off work when working at home?

Hey girls,

I have my surgery booked for Wednesday and have the Thursday and Friday booked off. I’m not due to be back to work until the Monday (I will be 5 days post op) and will be working from home. Do you think this will be ok? Any help is appreciated! Thank you xxx

Hi Katie, if your working from home I would say yes, otherwise I would say no. I am 10 days post opp over the muscle and feel fine to go back now although if you would have asked me 3 days ago I wouldn’t have thought I would have felt this good today and I couldn’t have actually gone in work 5 days post opp. I suppose everyone is different too. Good luck for Wednesday you won’t regret it xx

I would expect you would be fine to work from home assuming its desk based after 5 days, I had unders and had to drive and do the school and nursery runs day 1 post op.

Hi Katie, I have booked for a Wednesday, too the Thursday Friday off initially but have now added the Monday just incase I’m still j no or feeling up to it xxx
