    Hi everyone,
I’m very early on in this process and still doing as much research as I can.
I have my first initial consultation in Bristol on 13th Feb with Faye and was just wondering what happens after this?
Do I then meet with a surgeon to discuss?
Also, how long did it take for each of your appointments up until surgery day?
Just wondering how long it may be until I could possibly have the op from my first consultation?
    Thanks x

    Hey Becky 🙂
I had my first consultation December 10th, my patient coordinator said she could fit me in just after Xmas if I wanted too but I decided to see the new year in.
I chose Jan 27th (yesterday!) So on December 27th I seen my surgeon and they fit me in with the nurse too on the same day. They have to give u a two week “cooling off period” after the surgeon so I booked the date with a deposit payment to secure it but hadn’t made any payments for the actual breast surgery. The deposit for the date is refundable too (Not sure how far in advance though) after the two weeks had gone i made the final payments and I kept in contact with my patient coordinator, she rang me all the time when I wanted to ask questions about the sizes ECT. Overall I’m so glad I did it with 6weeks of my first consultation:)

My surgeon was Dr Giannis at London Fitzroy. I was based at Nottingham clinic and Ria the patient coordinator is amazing! It just doeneds on who you want to go with, I can’t fault Dr Giannis though and all the team at London Fitzroy were great, especially the anethisist I had a hundred questions for him and he was so patient lol xx
