    Hey Girls.
I’m now 15 days post op on my uplift plus implants and I wanted to share some advice for sleeping with you.
I found the first few days so difficult and so difficult to get properly comfortable, my back was SO sore for about 4 days… but I figured out the best way eventually and one thing I’ve not struggled with since day 4 at all is sleeping. My back isn’t sore anymore from sleeping upright and I’ve seen quite a few girls say their backs get worse and worse so thought I would help.

Like everyone says I definitely recommend a V shaped pillow and a travel neck pillow. The travel neck pillow has been a LIFE saver. My surgeon actually recommended it to relieve the tension in my neck and shoulders too which was making my back pain worse.

Along with the neck pillow and V pillow, I recommend just a regular pillow and IKEA sell some super firm regular pillows for about £6. The style is called HAMPDÅN. This pillow has helped my back pain a tonne because it’s not too squishy and it’s quite high so it gives my back a really good amount of support. I placed the regular pillow against my headband propped up then turned the IKEA pillow vertically in front of it. Then placed my v pillow in front.

I also think it really helps to get into a routine! I go to sleep at 11.30 every night and take 2 painkillers and wake up around 4am to take 2 more. Then I usually sleep through till morning.

Hope this helps anyone not getting enough sleep or getting back pain. The Ikea firm pillow along with the V and Travel has been a lifesaver 🙂

    xx
