Toilet issues

Girl HELP! Had my op on Monday and I have no issues with having a wee but haven’t done anything other than a wee since the op it’s now thurs and it hurts did anyone else suffer with this problem? x

Hey babe, I had my op Monday too and I’ve only just gone to the loo properly today! Was starting to feel awful, drink plenty of water and peppermint tea really helped me too xxx

I went a week as I didn’t go before my op! I used sennaknot tablets they works a treat for me x

Everybody Hun it’s actually listed as a side affect on your paperwork. Just get someone to pick you up some constipation relief tablets take one tonight you’ll be fine in the morning.

If you’ve been taking pain killers that would most likely be the reason why, in particular anything codeine based. Have lots of water and some senna if you’re still struggling to go x

Like Paula says above, it’s the tablets with codeine in it. They usually give you something like co-codamol and it’s a side effect of those x
