How exciting. I’m going shopping this weekend for new pj’s, slippers and all my toiletries etc for my hospital stay I’m so excited I feel like I’m going on holiday haha. Can’t wait to hear your story xx

clean knickers
comfy clothes to come home in i.e. sweat pants loose top and zip up hoody
v pillow
button up pjs
socks
lightweight dressing gown and slippers
hand gel
face wipes
tooth brush and tooth paste I’m staying overnight
sanitary pads 🙁 typical come on my period and you cant wear tampons apparently 🙁
Then ill take my phone i pad and charger and maybe some magazines
ive also packed some herbal sleeping tablets and pain killers
but doubt il need them as they will have them i guess xx

That’s a good list, I was thinking of taking pretty much all of those things too. Boots definitely sell it its £5 I looked yesterday. Its near the anti bacterial hand gels in my local store. I’ll look forward to seeing your results Vanessa, 38 days until my big day its all I can think about. Bet you’ll be in a daydream all weekend xx

My op isn’t til the 14th and I’m all packed ready to go 😀 can’t wait! I’m also on a run of night shifts up until the 12th so kinda need to be organised. Good luck girlies xx

Hi ladies I had my surgery yesterday. I was a day case and honestly you don’t need much to take with you. I had lots with me but honestly I only used my bra, slippers, hair brush, lip balm, phone and my phone charger. I wore a hoodie and track suit bottom to the hospital and back.
I would say pack light if you are a day case. Good luck you all and enjoy this incredible journey. xx
