    Hi ladies,

So I have my initial consultation booked for the end of october. However, because I’m travelling from Belfast to Liverpool, I am also having my surgeon consultation on the same day.

My question is, I don’t mind travelling on my own for the consultation but would I really need someone with me on the day of surgery? I plan to travel back to Belfast the following day xx

Hi Louise. Im in similar situation. On my pre op appointment I had to give the name of person who is going to pick me up. Otherwise they wouldn’t go ahead with operation (that is what nurse said). My surgery is in the end of September xxx

110% NEED someone with you. Not even a second guess. If anything goes wrong you need someone to help you. I struggled to open a door on day two of po. It’s not them being difficult, there’ll be simple things you struggle to achieve after the op so you need someone with you x

It also depends on how you are getting back to Belfast as I’ve been told that I can’t fly for four weeks x

Yikes 4 weeks really???? Was planning on flying. Will have to speak to my pc again. We have a cosmetic hospital close to me but they charge £12,000!!!!!! Insane!!!!

My sister has said she is more than happy to come with me, she can shop while I’m having surgery 🙂
