Tubular Breast Correction – Not Happy

Hi,

I just wanted to post this as I have been looking for a while and not found anything about anyone being unhappy after having a BA to correct Tubular Breasts.

I had my surgery with Mr Traynor on 22nd January, 300cc and 325cc with an areola reduction which he said would be a lift aswell. On my initial consultation I said I didn’t want to be huge and around a D and although like most people I wish I had gone bigger I would say I am around a D/DD. However the one thing I did say was that all I wanted was ‘normal’ round breast and I would do whatever we needed to do to have them.

A few weeks after getting them done I loved how the shaped looked however I didnt get my nipple dressings off until 6 weeks and from then I feel like my boobs have slowly morphed into a bigger version of what I had before! Like you can see where the round implant is and where my ‘puffy tubular’ breast and nipple then starts.

I wouldnt even say my nipples are smaller than they were before and they definitely havent lost the classic ‘puffy’ look, which is heartbreaking as I payed all the extra for the nipple reduction!

I havent had my final 12 week post op yet due to everything going on but i really dont know what to do or how to feel, has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hiya, I started my journey with 300’s and no corrective surgery in 1996 and they looked awful. I had my most recent 2yrs ago, 690’s with full uplift and they finally look normal. Hopefully yours will settle down in time x

Hi lovely sorry to hear your not happy! I had tubular correction in December and was told I may still get the slight puffyness of the areola which I also had reduced (this only appears when my boobs are warm though) is it the same for you? But for me it’s only the areola that sometimes is visibly puffy not part of the boob too so Id maybe ask about it?! I was also told I was never going to have the perfect circular boobs because of how they were and how difficult it is to fix but mine have settled and look a completely natural tear drop. Just look back at old pics when you’re down too I wish I went bigger but physically couldn’t but in comparison to what they were theyre amazing even if I don’t always think that x
