Ultrasound?!

Hi girls,

I’ve been having some trouble with my left boob, the symptoms sound like CC but obvs can’t be sure. I finally got to speak to a nurse today and she told me to go and get an ultrasound done, without anyone seeing me first?! And the cost is £300! Has anyone else had a similar experience? X

Hi I had pain about 3 years ago. Saw my own gp who referred me for a scan and mammogram. Have u tried your gp?

I had an ultrasound before my surgery as I had hard tissue (was nothing and was normal) but I went to my GP who referred me to the breast clinic and they did an ultrasound x

Thanks everyone for your replies! Yes I am with MYA. I do really want to speak to my PC but it’s been a struggle to get hold of her what with everything going on.

I haven’t tried my GP but I definitely will now. I just heard that some other girls got told by their’s that it wouldn’t be covered on the NHS. But I will give it a go x
