Under the muscle or over the muscle?!

I’m booked in for surgery on the 12th august and I met my surgeon on Monday. I’m 5ft 1” and I chose 400cc but I don’t know if they’re going under the muscle or over. Does this have to be decided before the surgery day? I’ve read that under the muscle achieves a more natural look, is this true?x

Hi. Iv had both under and over the muscle. For me over has given a more natural look. Previously had unders and they didn’t move naturally at all also ended up with breast tissue falling away from the implant making them look very saggy. Im much happier now with overs.

Isn’t it stated on your consultation form you discussed with your surgeon? I’ve seen 2 surgeons and both noted down the procedure and size they advised. The mark through the checklist. X

I was told at my consultation i would be having over and then the morning of my surgery when I was getting marked up j was told I was having under x

I’m in the same situation here. My surgeon told me I can have overs or unders and it’s my choice but I honestly don’t know, I’ve seen amazing results from both options 😫😫😫 how are we suppose to decide?! Xxxx my op is August 12th with Traynor x

Hiya, im 5ft3 and having 350cc (currently an A cup) my surgeon said to achieve a more natural look, unders is best but i have really thick skin so either would be viable

Hi- I had my surgery 7 days ago and I went under the muscle. The pain during recovery is apparently worse- I’ve been fine. I would say 7/10 pain in the first week. Mine already look natural- I’m so shocked and happy so far. I would recommend it if the surgeon is too.

I just had my surgery on 22nd July with Mr Traynor and had over the muscle. From what I’ve been told and read, if you have enough breast tissue then over would be the best option otherwise unders as you have a higher risk of rippling x x
