    I’m 2dpo.
On Monday I plan to be “back to normal” driving kids to school and picking them up? My youngest is 1.5 years old so needs lifting into the cat etc.
    I had 325cc unders
Am I being crazy to think by day 7dpo I will be able to drive? I’m starting to worry

@rhiannon1984 Im the same. Iv got 3 kids and my youngest is 2 she always needs picking up. In and out the car. She’s not a light little thing either. Im due my op 22nd march so im trying to learn her to climb into the car seat and out. Thinking ahead haha xxx

I drove at day 11 could have MAAAAAYYYBE just about drove day 7 but with me I had a whole other bout of issues after day 5 because I wasn’t sleeping and my back and neck were in bits so days 7/9 I was mostly trying to deal with that and catch up on sleep. Those first few days are the hardest so your bound to feel you’ll never be human again, but you may actually manage. If anything it’s the lifting the child that will be the harder bit not the driving. But actually saying that my friend brought her 1 1/2 year old over day 8 and I lifted her into my lap for cuddles. I think you’ll manage but you’ll need to seriously rest when your not needed x

I’m 13 days po and I drive my car a short distance last night, I had unders too, it was the closing the door that was uncomfortable more than anything. I actually hit a turning point around seven days po from feeling like utter crap to being human again so try not to do too much and listen to your body, I think you’ll be fine 🙂 x

I had unders and have a 1 year old and 4 year old at school and yes a week po I was driving and looking after the kids without help in the day. When I did the school run I only lifted the baby in and out of car seat and then into a light pram. Just lift keeping your arms close to your side if that makes sense. It’s doable just be careful and only lift them when necessary. Xx

Thanks ladies this is really positive. I actually feel pretty good today! Managed to do my hair and make up and feel way more human. I’m only 2dpo. And I feel much better than I thought I would. I am aware though that it might get worse before it gets better so I’m not pushing my luck x

I drove at 7 day post op but I couldn’t do 5th gear or reverse lol. I personally think you will struggle getting your little one in and out of the car seat only because its kind of like opening a door where you’re arms are stretched out so you’re using your shoulders and peck muscles. Like I could pick up my daughter if I crouched down and cuddled her against me then picked her up. Does that make sense paha soz I’m terrible at explaining! X
