I posted a while back that I thought I was developing symmastia. I visited a MYA nurse and then my surgeon yesterday and I have been told that I do NOT have it. My surgeon checked my sternum and confirmed the skin is very much attached and the implants and in no way touching. My skin needs time to settle in the sternum area the implants are currently pulling it taut.

Very happy girl now 🙂 been through so much stress worrying about all of this! And my boyfriend has been stressing for me too.

To any girls who have any concerns about their boobs whatsoever I recommend contacting your nurse or surgeon because they will be the only ones who can put your mind at rest!

@destijl hi! So glad to hear that, at how many weeks did you see your nurse about this? I think I may have this or bottoming out and I see my nurse at 6 week check up next Friday.

@khutchinson I was around 8 weeks I think. She booked me an appointment with my surgeon because she thought it was symmastia too but couldn’t be sure but when I went to my surgeon he said my boobs are just naturally close and that the skin has definitely not lifted off of my sternum. I posted pictures on the previous post to this but that was a while back. X
