What size was you before? Xx

Hi girls! I was a 32E before, but empty! My surgeon advised an uplift I’d be a C cup and he said as I’m tall a 300cc implant would suit me, so I had an uplift and 330 round implants unders. I’m so happy so far, one week post op! How are all yours healing? Xx

I was a 34F before my op.. I had the uplift without implants and I love them!! Still yet to be measured but I have tried on a 34DD and it’s a bit small so I think I’m an E 🙂 so happy, best decision I’ve ever made xx

I have my uplift no implants this weekend, any advice ladies??? Is it right that I have to get my normal size support bra for after my op? I was worried it wont fit if my swelling is bad for example. Feeling super nervous now eeeeeeeeek xx

    Menu

I brought two bras but they just aren’t supportive enough I’ve binned them and now have two of the Macom bras you can usually buy from your clinic. You just buy your normal back size and the cup size will stretch- any size fits all type of thing. They really are worth the money (£40 each for mine) you have to wear these bras constantly 24/7 for 3 weeks then all day for 3 weeks. So you need a good support that will help bring your boobs into the right place.
You can’t lift your arms above your head for a few weeks so out everything down low waist height, no reaching! My clothes are on a high rail it’s been a pain in the bum! I never bothered buying a pillow to sleep I have 4 pillows on my bed that was enough to sleep semi sitting up. For the first week. You can’t do any pulling or anything like that, so practicing to get up out of bed or from a chair in a rocking motion. Take arnica for bruising. Berrocca or any vitamin supplements with zinc, vitamin b and eating lots of protein helps to heal. And just be prepared to totally rest for about a week. No housework etc.
Good luck and come back with pics! Xxxx

Kayleigh thank u so much!!! That is All so so helpful!! I have two weeks off work so hoping I will feel better after that first major part? Did u take a v pillow to hospital at all? Will defo be showing pics and giving as much advice as I can afterwards!! Cant wait now! Who was your surgeon Kayleigh? Xx

Also did u get a sick note for the time required off work??? Xx

    Menu

I just had my post op with the nurse yesterday, I’ve healed now and have to go back to see her in two weeks and she’ll probably sign me off then. I can shower now but have to apply gauze over my sutures daily. I have been advised not to drive for another 1-2 weeks. They gave me a sick note for 2 weeks and then said I needed to ask my GP for any more time off. The nurse advised me to have another 2-4 weeks off and I asked my GP to write me off and they did. I was surprised actually how helpful and willing my GP was!
So recovery has been much slower than I thought, but I’m very lucky my parents have chauffeured me around and helped loads with my daughter! I had dr Payne at the hospital group. I didn’t use mya, just because I have a few friends who have used dr Payne.
I felt like I could move my arms much more easily after one week. And two weeks after I’m feeling great but still a bit tender, and she told me to do as least as possible, so depends what your job is! I’m a district nurse so involves a lot of driving, bandaging legs, risk of infection etc so my nurse said its best I stay off! X

Kayleigh they look fab!!!! See mya haven’t given be a doctors note and the hospital didn’t either, I have a letter for my gp so hopefully they will provide a note for work. I do external sales, so driving around doing up to 6 meetings per day! Cant even lift my arms yet lol. Feeling much better than I expected tho tbh.. The pain is quite okay. More uncomfortable than anything. I have my first post op app next Monday. Mine feel so far apart at the mo. Is that normal do u think? Emma I will try upload pics now, think I know how to do it lol!! Xx
