    Hello

For the ladies who have had vaser, how long did you have off work/study? I’m at uni and won’t get time off till feb. That leaves only 4 weeks till going on holiday and I don’t know if that leaves enough time for the swelling to go down and for it to be safe to fly. I can get it done on a weekend but that only leaves one full day to recover before I have to go into uni. Thanks 🙂 x

    Hey Gem

I had mine (back, abs, arms) in the Thursday and honestly didn’t feel back in form until the Wednesday after. It was really only on the Monday that I started to feel better. Driving was a pain and hard when checking my blind spot (do a lot of driving around the country for my job). Make sure you rest in the first few days after, if I’m being honest I probably done to much instead of just relaxing etc

I think for flying they say 2 weeks short flights and 4 weeks for longer haul. I have been told I need to wear my vest for 6 weeks so you may want to think about that also. I am 2.5 weeks post op now and still bruised – taking lot of arnica both in tablets and cream (took this after surgery).

Make sure you invent in some maternity trousers/stretchy leggings. I am size 10/12 but with the vest I am about a 16 due to the size of it. This really is one of the draw backs. If everyone knows what you are doing you will be fine but if like me I have only told limited people makes it harder to hid. One of the girls on hear used the excuse that she had a back brace on and I used that myself.
