So it will be 3 weeks next tuesday 28th Nov,and was wondering if anyone had advice on walking dogs. I have a Giant Schnauzer who is about 7 stone and a miniture one who could do with getting out.My husband is walking them at the moment when he gets in,but it’s dark by then.xx

I’m wondering this as well, I have a 20kg springer/border collie cross and I’m the only one who walks him 99% of the time. Plus when I take him out I use a ball thrower, which I’m assuming I won’t be able to use for a while! I’ll have to kick a ball for him I think. Please let me know when PO you take them out for the first time 🙂 my op is in 3 weeks. Xx

I was wondering this too! My dog tends to get excited while we’re out and pulls on the lead A LOT, im worried about doing damage once I’ve had the op?

Hi Lorna.I will.I have the Giant on a Halty to help with the pulling. He is 12 now so doesn’t need to go far,but I would feel guilty going out for a walk without them.At the moment they have been very good for me,just letting them out in the garden, plus it’s been rubbish weather.xx

    Following this thread!
I walk my little lad off the lead at the park usually, so not concerned about pulling. But I do like to be mobile-ish so I can dash to him should anything happen! Xxx
