    Hiya girls!

So I’m 3 weeks PO tomorrow and still feeling sore and stiff and my boobs just generally don’t feel ‘settled’ is this normal? I have morning boob but it improves after about an hour or two.
They’ve definitely dropped a little bit at the top but the muscles still feel tight and stiff and twingy. Just feel like I should be more normal at this point? I’m not taking any painkillers but feel like I could do with a couple paracetamol some days.

Just want to know how everyone else felt at this stage? Feel like the only one who doesn’t feel completely normal right now? Not much has changed in the last week in terms of soreness and stiffness. TIA 🙂 x

@ljx6 I’m 5wpo today and only just feeling normal, I felt like my recovery was dragging, I’m still bloated which is annoying and my boobs are still tight and hard, I’m not like I was first couple of weeks (complete roller coaster and also pulled a muscle 16dpo) but it still wasn’t as easy as a lot seemed, I had unders though and they say recovery is a bit longer, plus side I love my boobs and would do it all again tomorrow lol as I thought the actual surgery was a breeze. Hope you feel better soon x

@kellydee thank you!! It’s dragging for me too, I pulled my left at 3 days PO and my right at 7 days PO so it feels like it’s taking forever! The left hasn’t felt right since I pulled it but my nurse said because I pulled it so soon after op it’s gonna take longer to heal. I love my boobs so far! Just want them to be ‘normal’ now haha! My bruising is still really bad too its gonna take a good couple of weeks for them to go. Really dark purple and sore looking. Did you massage yours at all? My aftercare sheet says to start massaging them as soon as it feels comfortable to do but I haven’t yet? X

@ljx6 I was lucky I didn’t bruise one bit, and I haven’t started massaging yet, scared to properly touch them haha. I’m going to ask my surgeon next week when I see him at my six week check. 🙂 xx

@kellydee oh you’re so lucky! I can’t even see my incisions because of the bruising! Yeah I’m the same barely touching them at all! Feel like I need to start massaging them though to relax my muscles and help me heal? It says on that sheet to start as soon as possible even around day 3! My next app isn’t until 8 weeks either, mid Feb as they didn’t have any earlier appointments. Hope yours goes well! Xx

Hi hun, Im 16 weeks post op now, I honestly felt very similar for the whole 6 weeks. It wasn’t until about 6/7 weeks or even after that I began to feel less sore and less muscular pain/ache. And was thinking the same thing when will I feel normal again lol! I guess it was something to do with me having absolutely nothing before and have to think how much everything had been stretched and how much our body goes through! Everyone is different. My nurse told me to keep on taking ibuprofen & paracetamol even weeks after the surgery. I’m sure you will feel back to normal in a few more weeks 🙂 xx
