Obviously I couldnt care less what anyone thinks about me doing this and im sure we all have the same attitude, but i was just wondering how your partners feel about you going through this process? My ex was extremely against it to the point of not even letting me save any money at all because he knew thats what i was saving for, i also told him that if i ever won a good amount of money by lottery the boobs would be the first thing, i’ve wanted this for 10 years. he always had a way of making me sound like the most pathetic selfish person ever and basically always made it clear that i could never do it because spending the money on myself instead of my son was cruel. Anyway, I got rid of that idiot a while ago and now have a new partner who is EXTREMELY supportive, maybe i think a little too much? like hes over the moon about, I dont know what i was expecting, maybe im a little upset hes not acting like he loves my body for the way it is now? lol how does everyone elses partner feel about it all?

My complication doesn’t want me to have it done, says I have very nice breasts as they are, but he would never try to stop me, and he’ll be there for me after surgery

Hey Hun, I think it’s a really difficult one isn’t it. Me and my husband have been together for almost 5 years now but I’ve wanted my boobs done for as long as I can remember. We laughed and joked about it at first but my husband is so supportive, he has paid for them as my Christmas present. He has always said he loved my body before but think he is also very excited to see them when they are not so swollen, had the op on Monday. I think it’s such a difficult situation for the men to say a lot without upsetting or offending us lol. He is just so excited as he knows I will hopefully be finally happy with my body x

I remember mentioning it to an ex years and years ago and he was very against it. My boyfriend now said he loves my body as it is now but just wants me to be happy and he paid for my surgery. Recently he mentioned that he’s been thinking about it more and is starting to get excited about it too. It’s easy to take that reaction the wrong way though isn’t it, you don’t want them to be too eager haha.

My other half hated the idea at first. But 7 years and 2 kids later he could see how much it got me down about my boobs. I’m 3 months post op and he loves them now, just as much as I do! The first 5 years he was very unhappy about it – he would never stop me but he just made his opinion clear. I had 2 kids born a year apart and breastfed both. We get married in 5 months and I swore I wouldn’t get married without my boobs. So here I am, post op! Xx

My partner did not like the idea at all and said he thought i was perfect the way I was but after a long time of seeing how down it got me and how it affected my confidence he finally came round to the idea and even paid for it for me. I think it must be hard for them when they just love you for you and can’t understand why you don’t feel the same about yourself. Having said that some men just love the idea of fake boobs but that doesn’t mean they don’t think you are perfect as you are! Xx
