    Hi,

Don’t be nervous, the consultation gives you a feel for the place and is more like a really helpful chat than anything – make sure you ask all the questions you have on your mind (I wrote mine down). The whole procedure is explained to you and I was lucky enough to see my suregon on the same day as they were able to fit me in last minute. The surgeon will go through sizes, incision, placement (under or over) and type of implant with you. You will need to take off your bra as the surgeon will need to make measurements, without which he cannot discuss the above with you. You don’t need to be nervous about this, your surgeon has probably seen hundreds of thousands of boobs, all shapes and sizes, and it’s all very routine for him (like a fishmonger dealing with fish lol, but obv not quite the same haha). You have no need to be embarrassed, everyone who the surgeon sees obv has some sort of issue with their breasts, whether it be too small, saggy, assymetrical, too big, etc so your surgeon is sympathetic with your feelings.

I wish you all the best, I really enjoyed my consult and I am sure you will too!

    Love,

    hi,
my consultation with the patient co-ordinator was soo helpful the girl was really nice and explained briefly what would happen
the one with my surgeon was a bit more nervewracking as i did i have to take off bra but as mya2009 said you have to do this or the surgeon cant tell you what implant would be best.
i got to try out the implant which felt strange as was a big difference to what i am at the minute but i cant wait now! i get my surgery in 7 weeks time and im so excited!!
