What if implants don’t fit on the day?

My surgery is 24th feb. It was meant to be at the end of nov last year but I had to cancel due to a bereavement. I have lost some weight since my initial consultation. I am 8.5 stone now and having 375cc bra size 30a and 5ft6. I have mentioned I’ve lost weight to pc and she didn’t seem worried.

I was just wondering what would happen on the day if they didn’t fit? Do they have spares knocking around just in case? Haha! I don’t want smaller I’m just stressing about nothing probably!

Did you loose a lot of weight? Shouldn’t be an issue if they fit bit if the weight loss was enough to cause sagging your surgeon might want to see u again 1st

When i chose my size the pc told me they always order two smaller sizes than the ones we have picked just incase you change your mind on the day so wouldn’t worry xx

I lost about a stone. To the point where I have no boobs whatsoever now! Hahahah! So there’s no problem with sagging. That’s good they order smaller sizes. I obviously want the biggest but aware my ribcage is smaller now. The operation can’t come around fast enough!!!

Yes that’s true my surgeon ordered 3 different sizes x

Hi Debbie I’m the same pre op stats as you and had 400cc implants if that helps put your mind at ease. I didn’t go through MYA but my surgeon had also ordered a size up and a size down to see which would fit my frame best. If you are very concerned can your PC arrange a second consult with your surgeon?
