what to expect on day of op ?

I’m having my op on the 5th of Feb eeek
How did yours go?
I’m just Wondering what happens on the day so I know what to expect kind of scared haha

Hey! A lot of questions they have to ask you like routine ones! Try buy an extra long phone charger wire as the plug sockets are right next to the headboard but then you have a table on wheels infront if you and phone wires don’t reach that far. Just so you don’t have to get up when you’ve had your phone on charge! Plait your hair too they really appreciate it! When they wake you up from the anestetic try not to say ‘f*** off’ like I nealry did as I must have enjoyed my sleep 🤣

I had my surgery on the 12th January it couldn’t have gone better! They will show you your room and just go over everything with you before you go down for the surgery. When you wake up you’ll just feel a bit tight and tired. They will take you back down to your room to rest and then give you some tea and toast as you come back around from the anaesthetic. The nurses are so lovely! I was so nervous before but my experience with Mya couldn’t have gone any better! Good luck!! Xx
