I’ve got my surgery Saturday (3rd) i’m so unsure on what to pack has anyone got a list of what they took or what they wish they had taken. Also post op i’ve read icepacks are useful is there anything else I need to get before my op. Going for 325cc unders in the hope of going from a 32A to a C, i’m 5’1 52kg and wearing size 4/6 in tops and 6 in bottoms, any experiences on similar implants this would be helpful too.

Are you staying overnight? You really don’t need a lot of stuff tbh. Macon bra or whatever bar you chose, button up pajamas or baggy/loose fit lounge wear to wear after/home, zip up hoodie to wear home, SNACKS, lots of snacks (the hospital food was banging though but takes a while to turn up post op), iPad or laptop to entertain you while you wait (there is TV and WiFi in the room). I think that’s it really to take with you… maybe a hair brush and make up if you’re into that 😂 but honestly I just wanted to be comfy and cozy after! Hair and without any metal in it is a must though! I assume you got one of those triangle pillows because everyone on here goes on about them and so they should because they are great! But take that with you and use it in the car on the way home to help support you when you go over bumps and around corners.

Ice packs saved my life in the few days to a week post op. Also laxatives like lactulose or senna because the codeine they give you bungs you up and you don’t need that adding to your tummy bloating, trust! I bought one of those reusable cups with a straw in so I didn’t have to lift my arms to stay hydrated (also helps with the bloating etc).

I’m sure there is other stuff… I’ll post them if I remember! Good luck Saturday, enjoy the day it’s fun and exciting don’t overthink it or worry! Let me know if you have any other questions x

I packed so much shit and I literally didn’t even open my bag 😂😂😂😂
It’s more so prepare your room at home for when your back
Prepare medications and ice packs and pillows and all that stuff
You hardily use much in hospital and your home before you know it.
Laxitives are a must and I didn’t take that seriously and I was in the most pain ever on day 4
Ice packs are worth getting too! Hunting for them after your op is a mission – people will buy the wrong type and annoy you 😂 (well happened that way for me)

Make sure your stocked on snacks and fruit at home so you don’t have to think about going food shopping

    Good luck and enjoy! X
