This is the information I got from my PC:

    Flying
Pre-operatively: You are advised to not fly for 2 weeks prior to a Major procedure or for 1 week prior to a Minor procedure.
Post-operatively: Following your procedure, for all minor procedures you are able to fly short haul at 4 weeks’ post-op and long haul at 6 weeks post-op. For all major procedures you are able to fly short haul at 6 weeks’ post-op however long haul must be 8 weeks post-op.
If you have a holiday booked within these timeframes, please seek advice from the Nurse or Patient Coordinator as your procedure date might need to be changed.
