    Hi everyone,
    Had my op on Thursday morning and had my fair share of pain so far however trying to ease off the painkillers I’ve been given slightly as I don’t like the effects of them. Know it is very early days for me and will be different for everyone but wondering when roughly you started to feel ok again? And by that I mean when did you manage to get out for a few hours? Or when did you stop napping/feeling sorry for yourself?! At the moment I just feel like I’m going to feel like I’ve got two rocks burning on my chest for the next few weeks… can’t wait for the pressure to be relieved xx

    I had mibe Thursday too and from dinner time today I’ve felt great had no pain at all 🙂 I’ve been to the park for a walk and been up and about all day instead of just laid on the settee. I had a little bath tonight too which was nice. My boobs are still really hard but I guess that will take a while to soften xx

    Hey sweet, day 3 was by far the worst day. I’m now day 5 and feel great. I know I’ve got a long way to go but the relief of not having day 3 pain has been amazing. Took my little one out today and feel fine now. Hope you’re feeling better soon xxx

    About day 6 I went for a walk, take it really slow, I’m now 3wpo and mostly normal only finding it hard sleeping as I like to sleep sideways but feel like they get squished when I do for a little but x

    Hi Clare,
    Glad your op went well and you’re recovering! I had my op on Wednesday (uplift and implants) and I’m still in so much pain to the extent that I literally have to be holding my boobs when I’m moving or they’re too painful. I’m meant to be back at work in a week and I’m so worried I’m not going to be ‘normal’ anytime soon too! ???? xx

    Thanks for the info ladies gives me some idea as to when I can expect to be back on the mend although everyone sounds so different xx

    @JaneMarie
    did you have unders or overs? Your recovery sounds amazing!

    @Kate
    Thanks Hun you’ve given me hope that the end is in sight! I’m technically day 3 today or day 4 if you count op day as I had it in the morning first thing. Woken up extremely stiff and sore again . Just taken painkillers now but haven’t had any since midnight so think I’ve done ok.

    @Cher glad you’re feeling normal now! When were you allowed to sleep on your side again?

    @charlotte
    So sorry you’re suffering Hun. I’ve heard uplifts and enlargements are meant be very sore. I tried taking my bra off the other day but they feel too painful without support so not really sure what’s going on underneath it at the moment! Oh no really hope you will be ok. work worries me too, luckily I’ve got a few weeks off as I’m a teacher but as I work with little ones I sometimes have to do lifting/moving of equipment so just hoping I’ll be ok. We were also hoping for a few days away just in England somewhere towards the end of August as my partner has some very rare time off so really hoping I’ll be ok for that xx

    Hi Clare. I am now 7 days PO with uplift and implants, I think day 4 was the worst for me. I have been going for short walks outside since Day 3 and washed my hair for the first time today, such a celebration haha. Xxx

    Hi Clare
    I’m now 6DPO and had uplift and implants. I’ve been keeping active all week but 3DPO I went for a walk and then walked round the supermarket with hubby and I was throwing up all that night. Think I’d massively overdone it. I’ve not had much pain so stopped the codeine on day 2 as it was bloating m so badly. but I’ve struggled with sleep so I’ve felt groggy and tired most days. Last night I managed about 8 hours so feeling much more myself today! Xx

    @ydt1983 Haha Lex I’m washing mine today and I cannot wait! So excited! Xx

    Hi Clare, had my op on Thursday too and i really struggled afterwards!! I wasn’t expecting that much pain to be honest!! I’m still in quite a lot of pain now and yesterday had to get my husband to phone the hospital for some advice and they sent me a prescription for some muscle relaxants which I’ve started taking and they are definitely helping, although they do make me feel a little funny (kind of a little spaced out) but I guess that’s just the side effect and I’m glad they’re easing the pain. I can’t wait until I can get out and about for a little walk….hope day 4 or 5 is a turning point as with some of the other girls have said:) xxx

    Sounds like you’re recovering really well Lex! Well done on the hair wash! My mum has said she’ll come round to attempt to wash mine for me later (don’t quite trust my partner with this one… think my eyelash extensions would be hanging off haha) fingers crossed!

    Christie-Leigh oh no sorry to hear about your sickness , sounds like you’ve been keeping really active though. How are you when you’re walking? I’m worried everyone will think I’m some sort of walking zombie lol! Ive just stopped the codeine too as I don’t like the effects of it.. it was making me so groggy, I had blurry vision and all sorts. Managed on paracetamol fine today.

    Becks – sorry to hear you’ve suffered but glad your new meds are helping. Today has been my only ‘ok’ day so far, felt a lot more like myself but still very stiff and sore. Not had my daily nap yet so must be on the mend! Yes hoping they are turning point days too!

    Xx
