When does the pain ease?

I’m 2 days post op and wondering when the pain will ease? I’ve had a rough time from the beginning bad reaction to the ga etc.

I was being sick straight after I came round and I couldn’t keep count how many other times I was to. Hang in there the pain eases, use ice packs an try moving around so you don’t stiffen up. Also, take your pain killers 4 hourly. I set my alarm to go off even throughout the night. Xx

It feels like its never going to end, did you have unders? I felt better after day 5, was still taking pain releif 2 weeks later. Im 6 wpo today but still struggle to lie down on my side.

I’m only 2 days po I was so poorly I couldn’t stop being sick after I woke up I had my op at 11 and got discharged at 11.30pm!! I’m in a lot of pain and only got paracetamol and ibuprofen x

i had unders and day 5 was much better keep popping ya painkillers as prescribed , day 3 was my worst

Hi Jessica, congratulations on your new boobies and I’m sorry you’re having such a rough ride! I also had unders and the first week was literally hell on earth and I couldn’t see the end. But like @sarahthecarer said, day 5 was like a massive turning point and something just seems to change! My advice would be to stay well hydrated, keep on top of your meds to stay ahead of the pain even if you’re not hurting at the 4 hour mark, and try and find the happy medium between resting and being active. Other than that a good boxset and a brew and you’ll be as good as new in no time. Wishing you a speedy recovery, big loves xxx

There’s definitely something about day 5 being the magical day as I was the same… I had unders and it was definitely the turning point day! I too suffered on the day of op with sickness. You’ll probably still feel weaker etc for a little while after this but the light at the end of the tunnel does begin to get clearer by this point. It’s funny actually as I’ve got an infection in my wisdom tooth at the moment and I’ve just been saying how I would literally have my boob job all over again rather than having this tooth pain so it’s funny how you do put it into perspective eventually but at the time it feels like it won’t end! Hope your recovery gets easier Hun xxx
