Hey Laura. I got told to keep it on for 4 weeks. Got told i can take it off for 5 minutes, the macom bras are fab but they are quite restricting, they do start to give a little & you do need the support, and the breast band is so the implants don’t move upwards so you really need it. I’ve got another week in mind and its driving me nuts but i can take it off for up to an hr per day now so it does get better and nearly 3 weeks has gone so quick! Hang in there hun! Happy healing xx

…. ps. Its normal for your chest to feel really tight, i found sitting up with plenty of support at my lower back was really comfyx

You take it off whenever you’re told to, not when we tell you. Every surgeon has his/her own instructions, i had a surgical bra on for 6 weeks and it was like a corset and above that i had a breast band for the first 2 weeks. Yes it’s suffocating at the beginning but you will adapt soon and get used to the feeling and once you get the strapping off you’ll feel very vulnerable as if your boobs are gona fall and would want to be strapped back to feel supported and safe. It gets easier i promise xx

Yeah you’ll know more at your post op check, every pc and surgeon has different methods 🙂 Happy recovery Hun, I’m 8wpo now and the pain and discomfort seems like a distant memory x
