Wide apart breasts! Help please!

Hi everyone! I’ve been reading these forums for months and have my op booked for 30th August. I had my second consultation today with the surgeon doing my op and now I need advice. After seeing him the first time I set my heart on unders but now my measurements have been taken he reccomemds going over due to the very wide gap between my breasts. He suggested that unders would not give the look I required due to how my muscles sit and the gap would still be quite visible. However overs would reduce the gap slightly but would not look as natural. I do like the look of unders more but at the end of the day I’m doing this for aesthetics so they need to be right. So my question… does anyone who had wide apart breasts have examples of before and afters with 400c hp/ uhp overs? My stats: 5ft 7, 11 stone, 32b. I’m going for another consultation a week before my op with a final decision. Thanks everyone x

I didn’t have 400cc but I had 325cc hp overs, just as an example xxx

Hi Jen, I’m the same stats as you, I had 380 over the muscle from a 34a, I can’t post any pictures as I didn’t end up going with mya, if your on instagram I have a page it’s ba_380_overs xx

Wonder if it would be better for you to have moderate profile instead as they are wider implants x

Hi! I have the exact same thing as you. Mine are so far apart my boobs just go straight down. I am hoping that they will be able to give me some sort of cleavage! X

Thanks everyone! This is really helpful. I just hope he can close the gap a little and if overs will achieve that then I 100% trust my surgeons advice. Kay, he mentioned uhp but I said I wasn’t keen! I will look at mod profile. Jamie I have requested to follow on insta thank you!

Yes I agree with Kay, I had moderate so they were wider, as I’m bottom heavy they would look more in proportion xx

As others have suggested, i would go with a mod plus profile but bigger volume implant so they sit closer together, closing the gap, but still give you projection .

Hi Jen, just thought I could let you know what my surgeon told me as I have a similar issue. I’m having surgery with Dr Giannas and he told me my boobs were quite lateral, when I asked him about him being able to create a cleavage he said there was no way they can do that as the gap is down to where your breast tissue starts and they have to put the implant central to your nipple. He’s recommended for me to have HP for projection, and he said the way to create a cleavage is push up bras.

Going under creates more of a gap in anyone so if you have a visable gap already it will become even more noticeable. And personally I think if you end up with a wide gap that looks very noticeably fake to me that’s probably why he’s suggested overs as out the 2 unders will make you look fake. As long as you have enough breast tissue overs can look very natural once they drop as the breast tissue creates the natural slope that the muscle creates for patient with limited breast tissue. Btw I was set on unders too after reading through forum, but after seeing my surgeon she explained every reason why she’d go over for me personally and all made sense. It’s difficult when reading these forums as many ladies are very small framed therefore have limited breast tissue which is why their pics of unders look better than overs. Your stats are similar to mine and I’m having overs. And I’ve searched through Instagram finding girls with similar stages to myself as I’m not big but not tinny either, and overs look great on them as so natural 🙂 id trust your surgeon as long as you feel they can explain there reasons for choices with you x z x

Just wondered if anyone has any before and after pics of the end result as I also have a wide gap between my breasts. I am having HP 350cc in right and 375 in left. Did anyone find surgery closed the gap even slightly or has it made it worse for anyone ? Worried about this as I have surgery in 3 weeks x

I had 450cc unders and I have a 3 finger gap on between mine

I had high profile overs gave me the biggest gap which was said after it’s because that’s how my body is ,,. Just had another op 5 years later and he went with moderate so wider unders and the 4 finger gap has gone ,.,

I have 450cc unders and I have a wide gap witch I hate so much k was told to get a push up bra witch is a complete joke when I have spent so much money but was told I needed unders as I have had 4 children so my skin was a lot looser from stretching with milk for the babies etc so I had no choice but I hate the gap so much all o wanted was a cleavge in devastated

I had very wide set boobs, 32A before my op. I was advised to go over, I had 300/325 HP round overs, my cleavage is great now! He managed to pull them in, I wouldn’t have got the result I wanted I’d I went under xx
