On the Friday following my op which is on the Tuesday I have a meal organised, (pre boobs) that I just can’t get out of, as long as I’m careful will I still be ok to go? There will be people drinking and it’s kind of a party vibe but if I just sit and chill out will I be ok to do so? Also can I drink or will I even want to drink that soon after? I’m having 400cc under the muscle, on the 23rd of Jan with dr traynor any advice appreciated ladies,

Hey Hun, I would think you’d be okay. I think everyone’s pain threshold is different but I certainly wasn’t in bad pain at day 4 (no pain killers or anything) just uncomfortable. However we were snowed in so I didn’t have to leave the house until 6dpo so not sure how I’d have felt if I was out and about that soon. You can’t drink though as you will be on antibiotics xx

I’m interested in this as I have my op on a Monday and my 1 year anniversary on the Saturday. How long do we have to be on the antibiotics for?
I totally forgot I wouldn’t be able to drink 😐 oops!

I’m not sure if you mean 4dpo or 11dpo but if it’s 4 I hate to say but no way in my experience. Unders which I also had a far more painful than overs and I literally could not move my arms from my side until day 5/6 and certainly couldn’t touch my head. Day 4 your still in strapping you’ll still have your breast band on your chest which is gonna feel tight and makes you take shallow breaths. You’ll still be on antibiotics so can’t drink. And if you pain was anything like mine you’ll still be on pain killers. I took a very slow walk day 4 and was as slow as a snail looked like a total weirdo and when I got back from what was a trip to the chemist for more drugs I felt totally wiped out. Sorry to be a buzz kill but I think it’s best people are prepared. I mean hey I hope your one of those rare lucky ones who feel fine but I really wouldn’t count on it. If you mean day 11 you’ll be fine to go still not top form and probably won’t fancy drinking. I went out at 2 weeks post op and felt so nervous of someone knocking into me. But definitely day 11 would be fine.
Again sorry if this isn’t what you want to hear lol I do wish you the easiest recovery possible x

Thank you all for your comments, it’s just sitting down mainly so hopefully won’t be too bad, I’ve said to my hubby that if I’m not up to it we might not be able to go so might just play it by ear, I’m such a fidget too I’ve had two babies and both times I couldn’t rest afterwards I’m terrible haha but I also don’t want to cause myself any damage so as long as it’s mainly pain/uncomfortable ish I should hopefully be fine.

I’m soooo excited! Can’t wait too have boobies

I had 300cc unders on the 23rd of December by the next afternoon I was visiting family I had a few drinks Christmas Day and I was washing own hair over the bath by Boxing Day… if your surgeon offers to use a Keller funnel to place your implant I would highly recommended it Im 100% that is the reason my recovery has been an absolute breeze ! I had 300cc partials on the 15th December and I was practically housebound apart from going to my post op check ups. My best friends baby shower was 2 days PO on the 17th and I had to miss it because I didn’t feel up to it at all. And that was just sitting in her house! At 9 days PO I had to walk to my grans (literally 2 min walk downhill) and as soon as I stepped foot out the door I felt like crying and going back in the house! I felt the cold so much more post op and get pins and needles in my boobs when they get cold. I’m 3 weeks today now and still not back to normal but getting there. It does take some people longer to heal than others so it’s worth bearing in mind! But the thought of going out and socialising so soon PO was the furthest thing from my mind, it really takes it out of some people. Don’t mean to worry you, you might be totally fine! But some people aren’t 🙂 by 2 weeks PO I felt ok again and went away overnight for new years but the first 10 days was a write off personally! X

if you are unders- day 5 or 6 I felt ready to go out. and even then ,,, I was so cautious and felt weird walking ! Holding them!! hahah.. alcohol wise, I had a drink on day 3! Its all down to you and your body and how it heals. Some are better than others, Some girls I know were driving on day 3!!! personally I found day 5 and 6 my better days
