I don’t know whether I need reassurance or heart of people who have been in same situation as me.

Today I’m 1 weeks post op and I’ve tried all week to say I love them but in all honesty I hate them. I had Tubular breast and very different sizes I ended up with 400cc in right and 325 in left but still a noticeable difference in size I feel I will fill maybe a B cup bra and they are still massively out of proportion to my body I’m 5ft 9 size 12/14.

Don’t get me wrong the surgeon was amazing and has done a fantastic job just not what I expected I felt more confident in my push up padded bra than I do now at least then I had some sort of cleavage and the padding hid the different sizes.

    I am having major regret

Hi tessa, I had 300cc and 250cc I was a 32aa and 32a and then assymetry and really small boobs was what pushed me to want surgery so much. They are also slightly tubular and puffy. My right one is still bigger than my left and they’re a bit of a weird cone shape. I’m one week post op today too. I know it’s hard not to panic but even girls without assymetry before struggle with it after as breasts heal/swell at different times. I still have strapping on so don’t know about you, and my boobs don’t look that big which was a little disappointing. But having a look at them today whilst changing bra I realised they’re still being compressed by strapping and it’s still early days. Maybe talk to your nurses about it? And try to remember patience for 6 weeks. Maybe take pics and compare to before. I think it’s hard for our minds to adjust too! I hope you love them after 6 weeks! Just remember they’re still changing everyday Xx

I’m 7 weeks post op and I still dont like mine, but I’m not as upset as I was 6 weeks ago.I think about them less, and look at them less 🙂

I just had a little look back at the daily photos I took for the first 6 weeks after my op… and bloody hell at 7 days post op my boobs looked nothing like what they look like now. They looked so much smaller because of all the swelling between and around the implants, squiffy- off at different angles and they had so much further to drop. Even the pictures I took at 6 weeks don’t look as great as they do now at 9 months post op!

Don’t start thinking about the size or even really the shape as being the long term result till at least 6 weeks! I also recommend taking photos regularly and also looking at them and photos of your boobs pre op so you can really see the journey. But don’t get obsessed with what they look like right now, be patient and I promise you will feel better in a few weeks.

Even if they don’t look like the perfect boobs you were expecting, focus on the positives and how much better they look! My left sits about 1cm higher than my right still, as they did before… even though the surgeon tried his best to fix it), I focused on that for aaaaaaages post op and now it’s still the same but I realized I’m the only person who notices and they still look fab!

I hope my experiences give you a little bit of hope! Just give your self a few weeks long and wait and see how you feel!
