I went to work and drove there on day 7 but wasn’t the easiest,i have a retail job where I’m able to sit down a lot and don’t need to lift much xx

I probably shouldn’t have but I drove at 5 days PO (just local) – I felt ok, wasn’t on any strong pain relief and didn’t have much choice as single parent and my son had a cricket match. I’ve had overs and I think recovery is quicker. I think this risks are if you emergency stop/airbags etc …

I’m back at work 12 days PO and have quite a manual job – will just be asking for help for any heavy lifting etc

I went back to work on my 8th post opp day, and drove on my 7th, I think I should of waited to drive till around 9th post opp day really. I’m three weeks post opp day and it still hurts going into 5th gear so the last two weeks I’ve stayed below 5th gear! I did have unders though, but I’ve deffo had a good recovery

I waited til 2 weeks post op to drive, and also found the only twinge was when I was going into 5th gear – sitting up straighter before I did it helped though. I’m glad I waited that long, as there was no fear of pulling a stitch or anything
