I’m only 2wpo, but i’m a bit horrified at the amount of weight i’ve put on… I was a few lbs heavier than usual when I had my op, now i’ve got over half a stone to lose. I’m sure a couple of lbs will be water weight, but i’m wanting to start some low impact lower body workouts. Going for walks is out of the question, as i’m a single mum and i’m either at work or at home with my son. So I need something I can do at home. I usually use workout dvd’s, but all of them are quite intense and involve a lot of upper body work.
Can anyone recommend any good workout dvd’s or anything that’s worked for them?

Charlotte Crosby’s 3 minute belly blitz is great Hun! It’s a series of 3 min work outs and you can pick and chose what ones you do so you can decide the intensity! I have it and it’s worked wonders for me in the past. I’ll be using it again as soon as I’m able xxx

I’ve got the belly blitz so will have a look at it, I bought it ages ago and never actually tried it… i’m looking for something I can get my teeth stuck into now as well. I’ve ordered an air walker. Seeing as I can’t walk outside like normal people! xxx

Sounds like a plan, let me know how you get on :). I was like addicted to 3 min belly blitz whenever I’ve done it! It really makes me motivated xxx

I’m exactly the same as u Hun I’m 18 days post and I’m desperate to exercise again!! I’m 5lb up from before surgery still and I have 10 weeks till holiday and want to lose 12lb I’m running out of time lol I am thinking of next week going to the gym and sitting on a bike and using treadmill to walk!? My surgeon said 4 weeks for lower body and 6 weeks moderate exercise but 12 weeks upper body and weights!! X

It’s stressful isn’t it Stacey! I’d be back at the gym doing bike/ treadmill etc already if I had the time! I wasn’t advised anything regarding lower body, but 6 weeks upper body. I suppose taking it easy on the treadmill/ knowing your own limits, is no different than going out for a walk/ or being busy at work xxx
