Worse before getting better?

Hi can anyone advise did they feel worse before they got better?
I’m a week PO and at weekend I felt great and was up and about but tonight I’m crying because the pain and the shooting is unbearable. I feel like I can’t stand up without feeling like I have the heaviest chest. I’m panicking it’s infected although I have had antibiotics. Did anyone else feel this way at all xx

Laura yes hun take each day as it comes I’m 5 weeks post op and still have pains hun,, u will have off days and good days if u need reassurance ring your nurse I did really helped try ice packs too hang in there hun,, honestly it will ease and keep up with painkillers if u can really do help

Yes, I did perfectly fine until day 7 or 8 then they got painful for about a week. Hadn’t had pain before, just pressure. By 2 weeks they settled again. Now 8 weeks and they’re softening and no pain or pressure at all.
On holiday at the moment and been down some waterslides. Now that’s a strange feeling when you hit the pool at the end of the slide, feels like they’re coming off your chest! Xx
