Hi girls, just wondering how long until you would be able to drive again. I didn’t get told much information & haven’t been back for a post op check up as of yet x

I’m currently 6 days post op and have been driving since day 4. I’ve been very lucky though as I haven’t had any pain whatsoever. Most girls struggle to get into 5th or reverse for the first few weeks. Also, you’ll need to check with your insurance company as I know there’s a section on driving post op. I think for the first week you aren’t insured, but it varies with different companies x

Oh my really how do you feel driving ok?
I’ll have a look I didn’t know companies did that .. I had 6 weeks in my head for some reason don’t know where I got that from! Xx

I think it depends entirely on the person! But I believe MYA say 1-2 weeks (could be wrong)
I think I’ve just been very, very lucky. I have full movement of my arms and have been able to wash my own hair, pull tops over my head and stuff since day 4. Obviously I’m being careful to not overdo anything, but I’ve been feeling really great! How many days post op are you? xx

That’s fab babe! What a quick recovery, what procedure did you have? I’m 5 days post op now doll & I have an uplift with implants with a reduction on one boob xx

    Menu

Oh wow, that sounds pretty intense! How’s your recovery going?
I just had implants – 350/375cc HP partials. I think the fact that I’ve had partials has been a big help to feeling so good! xx

Yeah it was a big operation!! One that I wouldn’t like to experience ever again lol, I’m doing better each day the bruising and swelling is going down a lot just the tightness and sickness feeling I can’t cope with! How are your boobs looking babe you love them? Xx

I haven’t seen them yet! I’m fully strapped up! It comes off tomorrow though, so excited to see what they look like (and be able to breathe properly again haha) xx

I don’t drive, but just so you can have someone else’s personal opinion, I am 3 days post op and even though I am not in a lot of pain I wouldn’t be able to drive, because I find I have to concentrate on breathing sometimes and when I do get up and walk around the house I do get out of breathe pretty quick.

Depending on your pain too, you may not be able to drive because sometimes certain movements make you have a burning sensation.

Ahh bet your so excited to finally see them!! Haha it’s awful isn’t it feeling dead tight & that, it just comes and goes for me is that normal? X
