Where do I stand with this? I had implants reduction and uplift 8 days ago. I asked multiple times if my nipples were being cut and moved etc and they were definitely Not! I even asked the surgeon as he was drawing on me.
I’ve just had my dressings taken off to find that he did indeed cut and move them. I would of never of agreed to it! When he told me it wasn’t a straight forward BA I left the consultation and cancelled the op as moving the nipple wasn’t something I wanted at all.
The nurse is tryif to find my paper work and consent forms to see what i signed

I’m not with mya but didn’t know where else to ask

If you didn’t constant to do and sign the paper work for this then I’d be questioning why he did this also I’m pretty sure you could sue as it’s not something I agreeed to or signed altho if you did sign the constant form for it then there’s probs not a lot you could do about it Hun xxx

I just can’t understand it. I said as he was drawing on me before the ‘I’m just checking that your not touching my nipples’ and he said no. My husband even heard me ask and was like why are you asking that you should already know. Which I did… I was just making sure.
Even if he decided mid op that they didn’t look right and needed to move the nipple I should of been told!

Hi Amy, on any of the paperwork does it say what kind of uplift it would be? I’m not a medical professional but I did a lot of research before my own procedure and I cant think how on earth they would be able to do an reduction & uplift without cutting & moving the nipples in some way unless they were in the perfect position to begin with. Even the less invasive periareolar and the circumareolar incisions are around the areola. Maybe he did infact use one of these less invasive lifts but where you have the implants & swelling in made it look like your nipples have moved more than they have.
Read every little information sheet they have given you about the procedure and if its not mentioned at all then you have grounds to file a very serious complaint. Im so sorry this has happened to you and hopefully you can get the answers pretty soon from the right people at the company you went with xx

My nipples were quite high so they didn’t need moving. I don’t have any paper work other than my discharge form. Need to wait for the nurse to ring me x

Oh Dear!! When you had your initial surgeon consultation, at the end did he not give you any paperwork about the procedure you were agreeing to have done and make you sign something? Keep us updated xx

Sorry to hear this hun ur best bet is to take this up with the company ur with through complaints but u will most likely need to see the surgeon first to get him to explain what he’s done.

I’m pretty sure most uplifts involve some sort of nipple work and if ur nipples were high to begin with as u said then surely an implant and uplift would take away more skin and tissue making them even more higher up? So maybe he hasn’t touched them and they just appear higher up than normal.

I think ur best to contact them directly though as there’s only so much we can say!

Also what u think maybe ok with position may not be ok clinically in terms of what u were getting done. I had my nipples lifted with implants and the placement is permanent so I’m not sure if much can be done now if at all in terms of repositioning them.

Usually dressings are applied around the areola with the nipple sticking through a small hole if u have had nipple work so are u sure he actually moved them?

Literally this, I don’t know how you imaged it would be done without touching the nipples?
