Right boob looks different and worried

So my left has settled beautifully and looks and feels spot on, it’s dropped after 10 days po and the implant is clearly in the right place. So my right has felt different from day one like its so high and the bottom feels empty and I can feel the implant, the top bulges and clearly hasn’t dropped but now the swelling has gone down its making the shape look horrible. What should I do, will try and upload a photo, just hate it and now wish I didn’t even bother having them done ?

I’m still having the same problem, right from day one my right had a weird downward slope with the emptiness at the bottom. I wonder if it’s definitely to do with doing too much with our right hands? It’s still really early days so I’m going to wait til my 6 week post op appointment and see if it’s settled.

In the meanwhile, to make you feel better, here’s my 3 & 10 day post op comparison ? ? ? They look OK from the front, from the side my right is still weird. But they’ve changed so much in 10 days I’m (almost) confident ours will eventually even out!

Lol it’s so stressful, yours look rally good like it’s sorted itself out and they both look the same. Honestly I can’t stop taking my bra off and looking and now worried I’m messing around with them lol the dodgy one feels like it’s bounces and moves when I walk with no bra on aswel. Mine have gone so small now lol but that’s not an issue now this right boob is horrible. Tbh my boobs were never saggy not even one bit but that right looks like it in pics but in rea life it’s not but its lower now. When should I say somethings because I don’t want to look like an idiot who moans lol

See you say mine look ok, that’s just from the front. My right is definitely smaller and flatter from the side and if I lean over its even more obvious! I think yours are looking great, obviously don’t feel afraid to bring it up with your surgeon, you paid a lot of money and a little reassurance would be better than nothing x

I can’t go off photos as when I take them they look so different from real life if you get me. Like when I look at other peoples now I have to picture what I think they look like because photos make boobs look so much smaller. I loved my boobs the other day but today I hate them. And yes I think we are doing too much but when u have kids you can’t just stay on the sofa whilst they cause havoc lol. Have you tried hoovering and stuff like I might try today but I do lift my 2 year up I have no choice x ps you boobs really do look even and are such a good size for your frame

Yeah unfortunately I was doing normal house duties the day after I got out of hospital. Not hoovering but carrying the washing basket hanging it out etc, long walks pushing the pram, changing the bed (ouch!!!) and on the 7th I drove a 2 hour round trip that ended up being 6 hours due to accidents 🙁 I think you need to rest up though, I think straining the muscles just going to keep it tighter for longer.

Do you take your sports bras off often? I’ve basically lived in mine, I feel vulnerable when I take it off lol.

Obviously picking up the bubbas is unavoidable but try switching to the other side, I carry my 18 month old on my left hip instead of right because I’m determined to sort out the flat boob!

Omg how did you manage to push a pram, I still can’t and I can’t change the bed bu might try that today. Yes I keep my sports bra on but constantly take it off to inspect lol but o don’t feel like it’s not supporting me and is abit big now so I’m going to buy a new one. I think it’s be aside its a 34 and I’m normally a 30 so feels so baggy. The nurse said I won’t see the surgeon till 3 months, I think that’s bad and we should automatically see the surgeon one week post op especially as we are all so nervous and anxious x

I didn’t really have a choice I have no one helping me out ? Where did you get your sports bra from? I find M&S extra high impact ones are really nice and supportive. I’ve bought just a regular high impact one for night time, it’s a little looser and comfortable for sleeping.
I don’t know if you’re able to email your Patient Coordinator at all? Maybe send some pics?
I get to see my surgeon at the end of August for a follow up, I think 3 months is far too long!

My patient coordinator left before I had my op and I haven’t even see my new one, don’t even know who it is. Starting to regret going with Mya for some reason but I will give it a week and if it’s not any different I will ring them. I see the nurse at the end of augeat but not the surgeon it’s not good x

I’d drop them an email with some pics, I’m sure they’ll have seen lots of people that aren’t happy and they should be able to give you some advice. Are your implants textured? I’m aware you can do some sort of massage if you have smooth implants that helps them settle into the pocket better. Mine are textured so I’m not meant to do anything like that.
Don’t regret your decision, you have a good guarantee with Mya 🙂 worst case scenario you’d get them revised, at best your surgeon won’t see you til 3 months because he knows how much potential change can happen in that time 🙂

Thanks Caitlin your right, yes they are mentor implants, at least I’m not in any pain and the flatness at the bottom and highness at the top does kind of show the implant hasn’t dropped, going to ring the clinic today, it just feels loose and not right but I will wait. X

Hi girls, I had an uplift as well as the implants 11 days ago and too feel my right boob is higher. I can still see the outline of the top of the implant in that one. Mine have both got a LONG way to go before they get to where they need to be but I suspect if you’re right handed your muscles are probably much firmer in that side to start with so it maybe isn’t as easy for the implant to move? From the side mine look different shapes too. It’s still early days Chantel but I think we’re all worriers about our ops. I’d contact MYA to raise your concerns, even if it’s just a case of them putting your mind at rest. I think we’re all very critical because we scrutinise them so much and want them to be perfect. Xx

Nikki how are you feeling after an uplift like does it hurt, it does seem everyone thinks one is different to the other, I think I need to buy a new bra as both have gone to big around the back and they don’t feel supported. Thanks for they replys girls x

The lovely nurse just rang me and has reassured me so I’m going to stop moaning now and forget about it and stop analysing ?

Before I got mine I promised myself I wouldn’t look at them for a few weeks because I knew I’d worry! The real changes are yet to kick in, hang in there ?

Hi chantel, so glad you feel reassured ? To be honest I’ve been really surprised at how little pain I’ve been in. I was expecting to be in absolute agony but it’s felt sore rather than painful. I’ve really turned a corner over the weekend and aren’t taking any medication at all now. It seemed as though as soon as I’d had my 1 week review everything suddenly improved – don’t know whether that was because I had peace of mind that everything was healing well. Up until Saturday I hadn’t even looked at the real boobies – I’d only seen the photos my boyfriend had taken as I was scared of not liking them but I’m happy – phewww. I got the macom bras mainly because I had the uplift as well. I wanted as much support as possible as I’m paranoid about them dropping again but do t think there’s much chance of that for a while lol. Xx

They look so good you must be so happy. I know I really do have days of loving them then hating them, I actually annoy myself because I’m so critical and Impatient, having unders is such a long process. Mine have gone a lot smaller but I actually love the size, that are both equal in size but different shapes. I also think it’s because people constantly want to see like friends and I just don’t want them to be like “oh dear lol” think I’m just going to decline until I’m happy with them x

You see I think both you girls look amazing. Do you think everybody’s look different from the side? I think mine just look like slopes and my nipples look lower than I thought they would. Xx

Yours look so perky and after an uplift that’s the result you want. Mine look ok from the front and that are the same size but just not shape and yes mine was like a slope but thinking about it, it has improved really since last week. I will take another pic next week, I beg both would have changed again x

Hi , mine are the same I’m 4 weeks post op and my right looks bigger and has dropped a lot more than my left there is about an inch difference between two as in my right is a inch higher than my left I just hope they even out !

Chantel, they definitely look perky compared to what I had before haha – here’s my before and after comparison (literally straight out of theatre). Xx
