• Why did you want the procedure?

  Breast fed two kids and my boobs flopped out of my bras like wet fish!

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose MYA because of the surgeon Mr. Fratti and because of this forum.  It seemed an open and transparent service.

• How was your consultation?

  Initial consultation with Lauren the PC was very brief – by this point I’d seen so many surgeons and clinics I knew exactly what I wanted/needed.

  The second consult with Fratti was also brief – man of few words. But I just had to trust he knew what he was doing and go with it.

  I said I wanted natural, not huge and evened our (left much bigger) He took one look at my boobs and said 350 the right 300 the left. Got me press my hand together like in prayer the said ‘Under the muscle as you have little flesh on top’ this is to prevent the implants showing and having a very fake look.

  Took some measurements signed some papers and I was done.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  Very smooth. Great staff. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. Only waited a couple hours to go in. The staff are top notch. From the minute I arrived every nurse and doctor and team member were so professional and friendly.

  I was surprised I didn’t see my surgeon again but not concerned.

  When I came to I was in my room and given pain relief and offered water and anything I needed.

  Anytime I pressed the buzzer someone came straight away. Nice food, tea anytime I wanted. Help going to the loo! All through the night. Just lovely staff.

• How was your recovery?

  I didn’t get to see fratti before leaving as my chaperone needed to get to work and lived quite far away. The paperwork said vacate by 10am but by 1230 he still wasn’t there so I had to leave else I wouldn’t have been able to get back alone. I stayed with my chaperone for a night then, due to the difference in size, I had to travel back for a check up (in case the fluid wasn’t draining properly) and stayed overnight at the clinic as it was too late to travel back again so soon after surgery. Again wonderful stay. They were genuinely concerned and wanted me to be ok. I was.

  Went back to stay with my friend for the rest of the week.

• Are you happy with your results?

  Not yet. They are entirely different sizes and shape. Totally odd. But I’ve seen some great results after 6 weeks and they change so much while settling in so I’ll  update this again in another 5 weeks.
