    Hi everyone,

I am due to go on holiday to Florida in just over 6 weeks but am soooo unhappy with my stomach it is making me not want to go! I want to know if this is enough of a time frame to get vaser/laser lipo and recover? Also, how long do people have off work? I can only realistically take 2 days off so maybe go in on Friday, have the weekend off & Monday. I work in an office environment so am sat down most of the day anyway. Any help/advice/warnings would be great Xx

    Hiya,
I had Vaser on my upper and lower stomach, flanks, bra roll, arms and thighs on Sunday. So I’m 3 days post op today. To be totally honest the pain has been very intense and in my experience it would take more than a long weekend to recover. I have 2 small children and am unable to do anything for them at the moment. I have help until the end of the week so hopefully I’ll be up to it by then.
Maybe it would be different if you just had your stomach done?
I had a ba last year and there was very little pain so I’m quite surprised by how much this hurts at the moment.
Sorry if it sounds negative! I’m still pleased I had it done but just wanted to be honest about the pain and lack of movement etc xx

HI I had vaser done yesterday and I go on holiday on the 21st of sept which is bang on 6 weeks that day. So yes you are able to have vaser lipo 6 weeks prior to flying out. I have 2 weeks off work, as it was a pre planned surgery my work cannot use it against me. You are not able to drive for a week which is going to be pretty hard for me so you need to take that into consideration if you drive to work. One advise I would give you is to buy Tena Women nappy pads and then put a pair of womens boxers on top to keep it in place after the surger, because you will leak alot. I had my upper and lower abdomen, flanks, lower back and Bra roll done.
