Hi, I’m very similar have breastfed 2 babies and didn’t have much before either (whilst breastfeeding though I did…yeyyy) I didn’t have a clue which but my surgeon has advised unders as I think it depends how much tissue you have/ don’t have

You don’t normally get to decide on placement, the surgeon will decide based on what you already have 🙂 xx

I had partials (unders) because personally I wanna larger size but wanted them to look as natural as possible xx

I’ve breastfed 2 babies/toddlers and was advised overs. That’s what the surgeon said and so here I am 1DPO with overs. I think overs/understand is more of the surgeon’s choice, although of course you could express your opinions on the subject. When I did research online I thought unders sounded better overall, but it was great to be able to talk face to face with an actual surgeon who does a thorough examination. I was a 28b and am now currently on a D cup post op bra

    Thanks ladies!
Jo did you have much tissue? I would prefer just overs if I could because of the recovery time ???? I know it’s not the most important bit of my decision but would be easier with 3 kids haha. X

To be fair my surgeon gave me the option of either over or under as I had enough tissue to cover implant still only being a 34a. I did go with overs and the op was done yesterday! So happy I went with his advice and did overs. So I would say go with wht surgeon recommends x

Hi Abbie, I am feeling ok I slept pretty well last night considering! Surgery day was so easy for me I was down 1st at 9am and home by 5pm ???? I went to Fitzroy Hospital in London. I went for overs purely for the fact of recovery easier, if I have kids there won’t be a double bubble and they look a little bit more round! They were all amazing at the hospital though. As I’m only Petite I had 375cc overs and I was worried they would be too small but i reckon I am going to be a D or small DD. Have you booked your surgery ?

I’ve breastfed 2. I was told overs as I had loads of tissue just needed to refill skin. Mine look really natural now nearly 7wpo. Gone from 34c to 34f they look more like DD but implants always measure more cause of projection. I had no pain in my recovery just very tired for about 2weeks. Mine also dropped into place very quickly. I was on a whatsapp with 40 girls and the ones that had breastfed seemed to have less pain and recovered quicker. I asked my surgeon about this and she said it’s cause you’ve all had your skin stretched before so you don’t have to deal with that pain of being stretched, and the implant can move easier and it’s not as restricted. I have a 1 and 2.5 year old and I was on my own after day 9 and was fine x x x

I breastfed three times too and could only have unders as I didn’t have much tissue. The recovery wasn’t too bad I obviously had some pain but as long as you keep up with your pain relief you’ll be fine x

@abbiefreeman I didn’t have loads of tissue, no. I thought the surgeon would say unders becausy boobs were so small and shrivelled ???????? but actually to my surprise he recommended overs.
I’m 5DPO now and haven’t had any pain yet, just sore/swollen and feeling stiff!

I’m not a Mya patient, I went for a different company. As for sizing, I’ve got 400 & 420 cc Allergan Natrelle implants. Their sizing is different to Mentor implants. My surgeon uses both Mentor and Allergan, but for me personally he recommended Allergan x
