Hi everyone new to the forum! Currently researching. I really NEED, an uplift and implants. Something I have wanted for years! More so now as I have breast feed our second born. They are now horrific and I just want to cry. If you don’t mind answering what is a rough price for implants and a lift. Last time I looked in to it, it was around 7000 but it was a few years ago. I decided I wanted one more child before hand. Thankfully she is here and I will be done breast feeding Feb. I was thinking of maybe getting a lift and implants next December. I’m currently maybe a c I would like to be a dd/e. Thank you ladies I really appreciate the help.

Hi Lisa, I can’t give you any advice but I am in the same situation as you. I have two sons one 10yrs the other 20yrs. I hate the way I look, without sounding dramatic, they are like two empty socks. I breast fed both of mine and while I thought I could live with it age is now against me. I have just turned 50 🙁

I am 5ft 5 inches, my weight is around 8st and my cup size is about a 32B, I now have one bigger then the other which is quite noticeable. I would like to be about a 32D but not high profile. I keep trying to pad my bras with gel pads but due to the size difference one always works its way free. There are questions I would like to have answers as well so hope someone can give us some good information.

My questions would be:

1. Which surgeon would you recommend? I would be in the Kent/London area.
2. What is the aftercare like. What if you give double bubble?
3. Whats the difference between under the muscle and over?
4. What is the pain like on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest)
5. How long before the pain starts to wear off?
6. Do you lose nipple sensation?
7. When can you start to drive again?
8. How long before they are soft and natural looking?
9. Can you wear a push up bra to get the high profile look if you wanted it?
10. How long until you can wear fake tan?
11.What is the average price for an enlargement and uplift. Is there finance and how reasonable is it?

All stories and advice is welcome, hopefully there will be someone who can help before we see the surgeon.

Hi ladies, hopefully I can answer a few of those:

Pain is different to each patient/person. From reading posts on here I thought the pain would be horrendous. I’m 4 days post op and haven’t really been in pain! Discomfort yes but I wouldn’t say pain.

Nipple sensation- I believe this can go either way! My surgeon said most of the time it makes nipples more sensitive. I can’t feel mine as yet!

Driving- my insurance company don’t put a time factor on recovery and suggest following health professionals advice. The nurse said I can drive again when I can do an emergency stop… I’d have to be driving to know whether I could do this tho! I feel like when I’m back at work Monday I’ll be fine to drive.

Push up bras- yes definitely.

Fake tan- wait until post op appointment.

I had Dr Tsekouras and could not recommend him enough, he was amazing AND lovely. When they are normal blunt and rude or can be haha.

Aftercare for me has been really good, the nurses i had are both lovely and actually care. The hospital staff at london were really good too.

3. Whats the difference between under the muscle and over?

I had overs, which means its behind the breast tissue but infront of the muscle, behind the muscle i BELIEVE is for people with less tissue and a more ‘perky’ look. (I might be wrong) i wanted a natural look

4. What is the pain like on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest)

After surgery i wasnt in any pain, the day after id say a 6. But with pain meds again wasnt really in any. And i was off the pain meds by day 3 because i couldnt stand the bloating! Its more of a ache and a constant annoyance rather than pain. But everyone is different.

5. How long before the pain starts to wear off?

3 days for me

6. Do you lose nipple sensation?

Yes, but im 5 weeks post op. Still numb nipples and around incisions. But this is normal and can take 6 months to come back. Its doesnt bother me though

7. When can you start to drive again?

I believe after 2 weeks, i dont drive though

8. How long before they are soft and natural looking?

Im 5 weeks and they are soft, getting softer too and natural looking

9. Can you wear a push up bra to get the high profile look if you wanted it?

Yes, but not till a good few months after surgery i believe

10. How long until you can wear fake tan?

6 weeks i think. After your last ‘sign off’ appointment

11.What is the average price for an enlargement and uplift. Is there finance and how reasonable is it?

Mine cost me 10, but i had one larger than the other, tuberous breast. A reduction on 1, uplift, and implants so i was a complex case so not saying yours will be that much! Best money i have ever spent. And i didnt used finance and paid some myself and got a bank loan for the rest.
