I had my Lower and upper stomach and flanks done with vaser.
My surgery was on the 29th of April, i was asked to come in at 9am fasted and waited till 3.30pm because i was forth in line, the staff were so friendly always checking on me though. I had my own room so i took naps whilst my boyfriend was eating infront of me lol.
an hour before the surgery Mr joliffy came in to draw all over my agreed areas. Before the surgery i was put under with general three hours later i woke freezing. they had to put the 4d vest on me but i felt no pain. when i was taken up i finally was able to eat but couldn’t really eat was feeling sick so i had small bites. i napped for 2 hours then at 9pm i thought i was ready to leave. You can only leave if you are able to pee as the 4d vest and garment has a hole to go to the toilet. then the nurse checked me over.

Home — I have to be totally honest the first 2 days is so bad i was thinking why did i do this. I couldn’t sleep. Many people on here say sleep on your back i guess depends on what your having done but I’m naturally a person who sleeps on her side so that was difficult.
Day 1 is where most of the blood seeps through. they give you bed covers so my bed was safe but you have to stay in your 4d vest and garment till your post follow up with the nurse so i felt gross.
I didnt have anyone to help me at home so i surrounded myself with easy protein snacks to eat
Day 2 – You get used to the vest but still is annoying
Day 3 – i can move around a lot more and this was my follow up date with the nurse
she takes it off and even though i was dying to take it off your surprised how much you miss the support i was dying to have it back. I showered that evening felt good and you wash your vest in the shower with you. It took half a day to dry the foam 4d vest. So i wore a normal vest and the garment because its a little itchy without something underneath the garment.

i have attached my before and 3 days after
I am a size 12/14 and before the surgery i did want to see someone who was curvier on their results so i thought to share mine also so i can keep a track on my progress

There’s still a lot of swelling around my lower stomach, oh sorry yeah forgot to say they took 2.5 litres out which did annoy me I wanted as much as they could but looking at my shape he’s achieved I’m happy.
You will be surprised how much you need the 4d vest support after the nurses appointment she cuts it down for you to make it comfortable now I’m used to it. Last night I had a full nights sleep and the nurse told me it’s okay to sleep on the side as long as I’m comfortable. It doesnt hurt when she takes it off and she will show you how to put it back on when you shower. But once it was off I felt my stomach needed support kind of pain so I automatically held my stomach as I was scared but I washed my vest yesterday so I was without it for half a day but I needed support for my stomach so I wore 3 pairs of suck in pants whilst it dried.

I really hope they took the full 4 litres out of me. I have to ask at my post op on Saturday. I guess as long as my stomachs flat and my waist is smaller I don’t mind. My surgery lasted the full 2 hours so hopefully they did as my stomach was quite big

Oh I agree whilst the 4d vest is drying there’s nothing I can do I need it on all the time. When I washed it a lot of blood came out was so gross.
My surgery lasted two hours and they told me 2.5 litres :/ I was disappointed. I just want time to hurry up so I can see the final outcome.

Normal driving should be okay I took a train to my post op wasn’t bad just travel slow xx

My nurse advised me to wash it with me in the shower so I layed them on the floor of my shower and stamped on it with little of shower gel on it. And it’s all clean now 🙂 took half a day to dry though :/
Taking it off isnt that bad but makes you really see how much you need it on.

My nurse told me u can’t wash mine as u need to wear it as soon as I get out the shower. I asked them to order me one as it’s so yucky but no ones got back to me as of yet.

Hi, I’m really considering having Vaser and your results are fab! How are you feeling now? Can I ask how much the procedure cost? I’m booked into the hospital group next week for my first appointment, but I’m thinking of going to mya too.
