My first consultation the surgeon said I needed a lift and would not do one without. Second consultation surgeon advised me just to go with implants and no lift. Had grade 2 ptosis. (Sag)I decided to just get implants and so far I’m happy with decision. I’m 2 weeks post op. Can post before and after if that would be any help. Xx

I had a consultation with one surgeon and they said that I needed an uplift and wouldn’t do surgery without one. I got a second opinion and they said an uplift wasn’t necessary.

I guess it’s who you feel most connected to and most comfortable with

Hi Emma my surgeon said that I have grade 2 too. That I could have an uplift but I’d be fine with out. But they won’t be high up. I said I was fine with that. I’m having 350cc or 375cc to fill the sag currently a 34 a/b x

Hi babe, I went to MYA and was told straight away by the patient coordinator that I would most likely need an uplift. She didn’t measure me in the slightest, just looked at me, asked me to raise my arms and said I might not need one but it was definitely a possibility.

I went to another hospital, met the patient coordinator & also a surgeon. He measured me, looked at different angles and didn’t even suggest an uplift. (I was careful not to mention the first opinion in case they jumped on it)

Always worth getting a second opinion I would say xx

Thanks for all your feedback seems like a few are in the same boat! Makes me think MYA just want the extra money maybe??? It was just the coordinator in Harley that said I don’t need one and both surgeon and coordinator in MYA I may go to transform and get a third opinion I just want what’s best really! If I don’t need one great as it’s cheaper but I’d rather pay if a uplift will make a better result I’m just very nervous now as don’t know who’s right or wrong x

Hi Hun my sugoen said we just get a bigger version of our boobs just fuller and rounder so if you don’t mind how they look now and just want fuller and rounder them maybe a ba if best for you if you think think they too low and then go for lift aswell I’m my opinion if I was told I needed I lift I would go with lift as if you need a lift and go just for ba then a year or two down the line your gonna need the lift anyways as implants are like weights and will sag at some point on a person and obvs a person who needs a lift will sag sooner rather than later xxx

I’m having an uplift next Thursday with implants and I’m definitely saggy Maggie at the moment due to weight loss over the years. I would say go for the uplift because after a year or two they may sag! You then have the dilemma of paying for 2 operations! Have a third opinion from another surgeon maybe you can then decide what you think is best for you! Hope this helps xx

Mine looks similar to yours Emma and I’m having 375. Scared they might be too big as yours look fabulous. Although I know they look different on everyone and my stats are different to yours x

Thank you girls. Klzz im very petite so 375cc may be perfect for you. I had the option to go bigger but like you was scared they’d go too big and are more likely to sag sooner. Xx

Thanks. Mine was ken Stewart in Edinburgh. I went to him saying I wanted a lift and implants and he advised against the lift. When I met him I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to go with so I trusted him and I’m glad I did. Like you I was willing to pay for lift as I knew I’d rather scars than saggy boobs but I’m very happy with the results I got with implants alone xx

I’m 12stone 5,5 and an empty 36d after two beautifull children.., has anybody been off a similar size and had uplift with implants have been told no surgeon would give me uplift with implants as they would just sag and end up back at square 1 .., there saying a possible reduction? Anybody else been in this situation? X
