1. What exactly is “natural” anyway?
As the famous drag Queen Ru Paul once said “we were all born naked the rest is just drag” perfectly valid point in our eyes.
2. Your choice should be respected!
As much as you may disagree with someone's choices in life you have to let them be themselves and make their own decisions. If people accept you for how you are you should accept them for how they are or how they choose to be.
3. It is part of our culture
It's true, cosmetic surgery is considered the norm in today’s society and media. So rather than fight it, just accept and support the people who choose to have it.
4. Its none of your business
Even if someone's reasons are purely cosmetic, it's still not really any of your business. Your negative opinion regarding their procedure isn't going to make anyone feel any better or change their mind. As Cher once said “If I want to put my tits on my back, it's nobody's business but my own.”
5. There could be a medical reason for it
It’s safe to say you may never know the real reason behind someone having cosmetic surgery. Whether reconstructive, undeveloped, disfigurement, or a transgender patient who uses cosmetic surgery to express their gender, these patients don’t need to discuss why.
6. It is likely you have had body modification
We cannot see the difference from body modification to cosmetic surgery? How is having your ears pierced any different to having Botox injections or lip fillers?
7. You shouldn’t judge people.
Famous quote from the world famous super model Tyra Banks who once said “I hate when models say, 'Oh, plastic surgery
is just wrong’ What are you talking about? You won the genetic lottery… You look like this specimen that's making people everywhere feel insecure and you're going to ridicule someone for getting plastic surgery?"
8. It helps people
Cosmetic surgery has the potential to help people feel more positive about themselves giving them confidence they may of lacked prior. So in that case, we are all for it.
